dont forget your weights, 1litre of water=1kg, and it doesn't sit still on corners like woodchip

 

 

When they are ful they behave pretty well. They like sloshing around when it's about half full. And it wobbles the van when you come to a stop. That just makes it fun though!

if you run a landy why not buy a sankey trailer and an ibc, granted you'll need a nato hitch but i think they're about £25 at anchor supplies.:thumbup1:

 

 

Sankey's are heavy empty (just over 500kg for a wide track) & have a low pay load capacity (750kg) but are strong. Sadly a full IBC would be well over the legal weight capacity of a sankey.

Then is not a real Sankey.

(just checked & its a GKN, It looks like a cooks trailer model)

 

Its a "Sankey" just like all vacuum cleaners are called "hoovers" yet not all are really a Hoover.

 

Plus at £950 plus VAT compared to £250 plus VAT for the normal one its not much of a bargain.

 

If you have the right tow vehicle you could go for one of these
