I cant wait either pal. Finally going to knock the up himself Lorenzo off his perch!!

Oh...he's young! I think he is a good sort.He has shown promise, imo, for example, after Rossi binned it and he won the next GP out. Not mawkish, just about right!

He has shown that he can deliver the goods. And in many ways,(currently on 235 points so far) it's a shame he is without Rosssi as this will never be forgotten and yet he is on course to score the most points in a season (Agostini, rossi...you name em.)

Interesting.I had not seen J.L as "up himself"...suddenly felt compelled to speak up for him I guess.

they're all freaks though...Rossi, Lorenzo, Pedrosa ,Stoner....

i wonder what Casey will make of the Honda's....? ( if indeed that's where he ends up )

I hear what yer saying its so easy to love Rossi when he had those two bad seasons,as soon as he got it wright he took Stoner to the point of no return and he didnt like it stoner aint been the same since,he may well do the same to Lorenzo ,but he is 31 now,i agree Lorenzo mabe the future but i doubt he will win gps on different bikes,i doubt we will see anyone like Rossi again,i still wish hed gone to Ferrari.

nice point harvey, all the top riders on different bikes, so they've all got to do their own development,,, apart from stoner/ pedrosa, curious to see that dynamic, as padrosa has been with HRC for a while where as stoner has been world champ,,, who will be the number 1 in that garage..

Can't wait to see how how young Rossi gets on with the Ducati . Other than riding backwards or somethin, that's got to be about the only challenge left to him in GP. And it should make for great watching for us armchair racers :sneaky2:

you need to keep up brian....

spies will be on rossi's M1 next year, cal crutchlow will be on spies Tech3, so we will have a brit again, burgess WILL go with rossi, along with the rest of his crew.

lorenzo has studied rossis riding since he was in nappies,, he has emulated his riding style to be able to ride his bike, lorenzo is talented there is no doubt, but it'll be interesting to see how he can develop a bike without rossi doing the hard bit for him....

hence rossi leaving, rossi has done all the hard bit for lorenzo to leech him..

Lorenzo s been developing the bike to suit himself. Remember the wall dividing the garage.

Rossi does not share info with Lorenzo or vice versa.

Don t get me wrong I think Rossi s the best rider of modern times but Lorenzo will take his mantle over.

  • 3 weeks later...

heart goes out the the families of the two motogp riders who tragically died in the last 7 days.

peter lenz, was just 13 when he died in a warm up lap crash at Indianapolis last week

and secondly Shoya Tomizawa died in teh moto2 race today in what was probably one of the worst crashes in moto racing history
