For all you amateur/pro fungi enthusiasts out there... Comin from someone who has just started looking out for fungus more than i ever have before:blushing:, what is you most favourite specimen that you have come across/found and why? Also whats you favourite shot/piccy you've ever taken? And can i see haha!!

Crikey, fave fungi?

 

has to be the hericiums, they are so elusive, so beautiful, but....

 

Chicken of the woods, just for sheer boldness

meripilus for its stature

Grifola for its discrete charm

inonotus dryadeus for its bejewled "bling" pressence

volvariella for its utter and total artistic form, like a balerina.
