i have had 2 stump grinders before i found my ideal set up, i have now got a carlton 2700 (older version of sp2012) which is hydralic and remote control and a carlton 900 pedestrion narrow acess machine. They are the dogs. carlton are really good machines.

I would have a vermeer 252 with a predator head on it my old boss ran one and thought it was great for a smallish machine and gets in most gardens

funnily enough i was talking to my boss abouth that machine yesterday, weve been looking at a 4x4 bandit, but that costs 30k + over here, those predators are listed on earboristat 16k new

 

look a bargin:thumbup:

Just brought this from kim at dan equip.

 

Its a really good machine 27hp 26inch access imo the number 1 all round stump grinder good price tight access reliable.

I have ground out a 4 ft stump with ease with this does take abit longer then the bigger machine but gets every where :thumbup:
