Felling wedges for Loler????

BUT, if in a typical situation when using wedges (fit for purpose) a wedge failed due to a defect/damage, what then?

 

Surely Loler checks of this crutial piece of kit should apply?

No worries Bob, I know what your point is about the HSE requirements for PUWER, but that does not cover a lifting tool.

 

Are you saying a felling wedge is not used to lift or support weight?

 

Perhaps we should ask for Hi "Lift" Wedges to be re-named?:confused1:
