A couple on oak from a woodland I was in today. I'm a bit out of practise. Merip and Grifola?

 

I'd imagine both to be Grifola Rob.

 

Pores are larger on Grifola, and Meripilus pore surface bruises easily.

The tree was covered in them. It would be a wood turners paradise if it came down.
