hi all,

did a job for a firm last July, removed three large TPO'd limes out of a row to allow access.

Part of the planning approval was that the three limes are replaced, along with two others that had been removed for safety reasons years earlier.

got a call from the project manager today

"Hello Dave, as you did such a good job of removing the limes, can you give us a quote for replacing them."

Not a problem.........

"We require 5 No. tilia Europaea"

Again not a problem.......

"At least 15mts high"

:scared1: FFS that made me spit my coffee out.

we've done 10mtr ones before, and they were a nightmare.

anyone know of any suppliers who MIGHT have anything that big, AND the equipment to shift em....

Thanks, Dave

Its funny you should say that but I had heard that it was the oldsters that do most damage nowadays ! Dont want their view restricted, dont want leaves, dont want their TV signal disprupted or birds nesting in them which poo on their cars/aphid honeydew etc..
