This is my usual set up now, hitch climber with destil, cambuim saver with pully and sling for quick ascent.

too old to change now & happy with what I got, although it isnt used much these days:thumbup1:

 

sorry should clarify, i AM using a VT BUT only on the bigger stuff, when using the tachyon 45m for my two short lines i use good old fashion prussik

Just looking at my old threads that I have started and realised how much I have moved on . I now climb SRT nearly every tree at least medium to large size trees .
