how many guys and gals on here hire a yard??? i would like to do some of my own firewood as i have spent ages cutting for others but i know i can make so much more myself even with just an axe!! now my problem is id only want to do it 2 days a week and i have nowhere to do it......so id ideally need a yard/field and everyone i know who has a firewood business already runs it from either a big house with land or as a side. I cant see hiring a yard for 80 squids a week is in any way profitable!! i am currently in penrith and cannot find anywhere even advertising yards or land for rent at sensible prices..ie less than ny house rent!!!

I hate to say it but is it a case of having money to make money?????:confused1:

These are the joys of business, if you only have an axe then all you need is about 4m2 to swing it, you can stack a lot of logs in a small place. If you have a garden or shed then do it there.
