Wow that was a big bar. I get exhausted dragging around a 28" bar.

 

BTW, from what I understand your supposed to use the big shot the other way around. Less likely the wack you in the face if the rubbers break, and the line doesn't drag against the body of the BS and possible stop dead and wack you in the head. :001_smile:

nice one rob! was the saw oiling alright with that size bar on?

 

 

Yes it seemed to be oiling fine but you could feel the 880 struggling initially to get the chain speed up. The clutch took a bit of a hammering!

yeah it bet it did! So what are those bars actually designed for use on?

Well they are designed for the 880 and 3120 but a better saw would be an 090 I think... or a dolmnar 166 from what I've heard.

then get a 088 coil and a 084 carb,then you get chain speed:thumbup1:
