LogBaron, if you've asked t hem to remove it & they have replied poorly. Write again from your business stating who you are, who the pics are of, when, where they were taken, why they were taken, & how they are relevant to your business. Ask them again to remove the pics within 14 days. If still nothing, contact 1 last time, very short mail stating simply & business like that you are taking the matter further & they will here from a governing body soon. Then collect your letters & any other info in an organised easy to understand file, & contact WIPO - World Intellectual Property Organization & take it from there.

Don't stress about it :)

My comment was not aimed at you mate :001_smile:

I was irritated by the comment that said people should put water marks on their images to stop them being used.

Its like when people have kit stolen and some one says "well you should have locked them up better" NO!!!! we should be able to leave out gear out in the street or the keys in our cars, its the thieving scum who are in the wrong not a careless owner. (it hard to think like a criminal when you are honest)

And the people who say the victim is partly to blame are making theft less of a crime!!

If its not yours leave it alone!! any thing else is stealing, plain and simple!!

you are 110% correct Dave:thumbup1:Logbarron i was just messing with Huck  i should of used a quote but i was too lazy:blushing:

You shouldn't have too!!!!

People should only use their own images to promote there own work, other wise its tantamount to fraud!!!, IMO!!!!!!

i agree you shouldn't have to,,, but you shouldn't have to lock your car at night, you shouldn't have to make sure all your windows are shut when you go out of the house...

it's just realism..

and it's not fraud,,,,, it's theft...

Good to hear! You would think being involved in the business of arboriculture that they might have access to a camera and perhaps be able to use it on some of their jobs.....?

I complete agreement regarding the person being in the wrong is the thief, not the person assuming common decency in his/her fellow man/woman.
