Can't get insurance for a 130 Tipper!

Hi

I have a 130 tipper and i insure it with the Nfu or Trust depending on which is the cheapest every year.

I just sold my 110 tipper that was ins with nfu for £200 a year. Nfu will not increase the premium on my Hilux provided the conversion is done by a proffessional company. It may be worth getting an engineers report if you struggle in future. I think ins comp are getting nervous of home made tipper conversions. An engineers report will say that it conforms to a basic standard. I have seen some superb conversions done on here but have seen a few friday afternoon four bolt and rope for the filler neck jobs.
