U900 running hot??

Dean, I did the infra red thermometer trick and nowhere on the engine/cooling system is she getting hot. The gauge reads 90+ but the hottest part is about 79 even round the back of the head and all the core on the rad is within 1 deg of each other, top is hot bottom is cool so it looks like its all working as it should and the gauge is up the shoot!

Will test her on light duties tomorrow.

Oil changed too so pleased thats done for a while.

Im no mechanic, but always have a go at fault finding when something goes wrong. I just remember k.i.s.s (keep it simple stupid) Start with the most basic of things, like really basic... :)

Oh dont start me, ive been looking at them for the last two weeks and just missed one on here, Gensetsteve got there before me.

 

oh and the bricks are my handbrake until i find the new cable i bought and lost in the garage.
