blowers are no good when theres a breeze, chasing big piles of leaves wouldnt be my ideal day doing carparks:001_tt2:

iv taken the bag off mine and addapted the council look:blushing: 250ltr wheely bin without the wheels. load of small holes drilled into the bin.large hinged door for emptying... makes life so much better:thumbup:

i like the idea... why take the wheels off? i take it you mean you vacuum straight into the wheely bin? If i 've understood you right isn't it easier to wheel the bin around?

instead of having a large material bag hanging from the vacuum handle, theres a wheely bin instead:thumbup:

Hi Guys,

interesting conversations about blower / shredders.

check out this link for further info on the little wonder range.

YouTube - LittleWonderPower's Channel

as a comparison the HPV model is around £1300+vat as opposed to the Billy goats similar machine of around £2000+vat.

we tried one of the truckloader machines at saltex recently and was almost lifting the turf with a truckloader on full power.

regards,

Baz

My choice is top of the range blowers echo or stihl-sihl being quieter

blow into bushes as a pile and rake into big bags-not tonne bags when wet as lifting is hard.

Been doing it for years and it works well- trouble with the billy goat style leaf collector is that the leaves when heavy mean you have to take the weight and this can be a bit hard.

Then theres emptying the bag plus you have to push it over the whole area to collect all leaves where a blower with a quick flick will deal with light leaf cover.

Also blowers clear under cars which a billy goat can't.

Up to you tho

Hi, i have always used my self propelled countax hurricane leaf collector, but am now selling it as i have given up the contract sites where i used to use it. it has 6 gears and 1 reverse, 250lt collection bag and a wandering hose to collect out of borders etc.

It will collect leaves, bottles, cans, rubbish etc and mulches them up.

I am going to put it on ebay so messgae me if you are interested
