This has been addressed before but needs to be addressed again. There are swear filters in place on the site, some people seem to think this means its ok to swear so long as you change a few letters here and there. Its really unnecessary guys. I'm certainly no saint when it comes to language as anyone who's spoken to me in person will know. But at the keyboard I think we all have a little more time to think about what we are posting, also back edit if necessary.

Just yesterday I gave the web address to a customer who had a 12 year old lad who was very interested in tree work. I'm sure he wont be the only minor viewing here, please try keep this in mind, thanks

Fair point Steve. :icon14:

Never know, it might benefit us all to increase our vocabulary imagination & scope.

I for one find reminders like this a great leveler and appreciate the occational head up.

Hope it does not curtail the sometimes innocent use of emotive personal expressionism.

just a quick reminder to keep your language clean guys, seems to have been a increase of late of bad language again, and the prospect of spending time when i should be enjoying arbtalk, deleting and editing posts does not fill me with joy, cheers:biggrin:

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
