i have about a 1000 tonnes of composted green waste. i can grade to 40mm of if somebody wants somthing different i will change the grade size.

based in wimborne dorset/hampshire border. have great loading machinery and links with haulage contractors.

the local tip to me give the recycled green waste away for free as soil conditioning compost

that's the problem. all the great recylingof green waste has flooded the market. locally i cant get for free. anyway any ideas from people greatly recieved

Might have a chance of turning into fuel but I would need to know the following

 

 

What moisture content is it.

 

Is it all Virgin material

we are a grounds and tree surgery company. all the green waste i am refering to has gone through my zago. it is a complete mixture ranging from grass clippings to hedge clippings. i am no expert in what would make good fuel and am completly open to any offer and would be pleased to see someone make use of it. i have sold our arb chip for fuel before but never the green waste. as far as moisture content i have no idea.

If it is that green then it would suggest a high moisture content which would need an Anerobic Digester rather than a gasifier. How many tonnes per week do you produce as the size of the AD plant will be determined by the amount of feedstock.

on average 15 tonnes per week. the oldest is 3 years old. if i can manage in a different way i would be prepared to invest in machinery as needed

Have a look at Bioplex although your tonneage may be a bit low to make it worth your while.
