have you tried the petzl sequioa josh, thats what i have used for over a year now, i think its excellent

have looked at the petzl,,, bare in mind that steve weighs less than a sparrows fart.... it's not the most padded harness out there....

i know alot of people rave about the treemotion, the guys i work with have the treemotion, but i think the tool loops look too flimsy, one guy clips saws on the side where i do, and its already looking like it will fail after 6months and theres no way im clipping my saw on the red loop behind myself! they look like a great pruning harness but i just dont think it would last . . .

i will look again at the sequoia stevie, dan recommended it too..

in fairness to the treemagic, its lasted nearly 3 years of constant use, and i know its comfy for me

The treemotion is as sturdy as the treemagic imo.

I have the saw on either side, on a ice tool holder, so I can clip it in one handed on either side. The biner on the saw lanyard clips to the red ring, so I can use it either side without running out of lanyard.

In the pic the black petzl caritool on the left and the grey black diamond ice clipper on the right are my saw hangers. I know they look like they are right round the back, but they sit just behind my hips.

I have had this harness for about 2 and a half years now.

interesting, never used the caritools before, just a tool strop with metal ring, whats the caritools like for holding felling saws-660/880? looks like a saw would be bashing youre arse on caritools??? do you need a longer tool strop to account for the attatchment point being further away if stretching foward?
