My new web site- your valued opinions!

Take no notice of HIM, not a creative bone in his body:001_tt2:

Hama thats a fine site sir, full of promise/info, bookmarked for sure here as well:thumbup:

I agree, i'm not a creative or artistic person. I do however spend my days being paid to appraise websites, among other things. I do know what works and what doesn't from a technical point of view and also from a commercial point of view. I know Tony isn't bothered about the latter. The former however is a concern as that site isn't suitable for his needs.

No offence Ian, I know this isn't my usual type of post but I spent quite a bit of time advising Tony what would be best and he chose to ignore it. I dont even actually remember getting a thanks for my help either.

Yeah I appreciate that, and you know I was only teasing.

From a fungi fan/ley persons perspective I do like it though.

Yeh I know mate, and any other time I would have just told you to drag your old behind of somewhere and stop annoying me, with a big smilie face after it.

Like I said, no offence meant mate:001_smile:

I hadnt as yet, your right, but do you really want me to say so now?

We have a lot to do yet!

and i tend to feel that saying thanks via a PM and such is a bit of a nothing considering the nature of the help your giving me at the mo, so rest assured your assitance is not going unoticed!

and all who know me know that i look after my mates, and never make a fuss!:blushing:

No worries. Maybe ill use your site in the marketing thread as an example of what not to do. For that purpose it will be fantastic:001_tt2:

arbclimber, general question, why is the site not suitable?

tony, i really like it, its obvious its a one man made site, which is nice, like an author of a book, you get the enthuasiam and personality through. i like the alan rayner quote. look foward to seeing it progress
