Would you consider a "Rigging" cost?

We and most companies here charge two hours working time to cover getting to the job.Once you have greased,Fueled, loaded and checked the Fluid levels plus factored in travel time the two hours often barely covers it.

That way at least, the client has a machine arrive ready for work and you have been paid for the entire time you were working for the client.

Mike never herd the saying "Rigging" Cost? before.

The more I'm thinking of the prices, the more I'm leaning to wards going with a hourly rate, which would include traveling to and from site, probably a brake down of the day figures I first posted. That way I could be more flexible if clients wanted machine on site early and working late.

I would have the machines all prepared and ready to go in my on time, prior to my arrival on site so the clients not being charged when machines not working.

It's 100 quid plus vat just to hire a 6" chipper for the day, then you have fuel, van and a worker to pay, 160 for all that is way too cheap.[/quote
