conifer job

started the first day of a 4 day conifer removal job today. all chip and timber staying on site. we moved a small prunus to facilitate the felling of the first conifer which fitted into the garden with about 3 ft to spare. the 2nd tree was being dismantled to about 8ft and the owners are going to build a tree house up it.

nightmare with the chipper again today as it threw its belts about midday for some reason, so half the brash from the 2nd tree had to get stacked.

im teaching tomorrow so will be back wednesday to carry on the conifer carnage

the job is at a deer sanctuary in the new forest

oh and a pretty poor qaulity video of alex knocking a top out

4Days!!

You are way too chilled out man.

that looks like a mornings work:001_tt2:

Or are you on a day rate:thumbup:

Only joking, nice work.quote]

haha we had the first dropped and chipped up by 10 :thumbup1:and the 2nd on the ground by 1, then spent the arvo moving lumps of wood to where they wanted it, 7 trees left to do in 3 days, easy peasy. reckon we can fell 5 of the 7. the 2 we did today were definately the biggest and the wood had to be moved the furthest so plain saling from here on in, as long as the chipper doesnt go tits up again:thumbdown:
