Been asked by my tutors to ask around as they need students for the First year (FD)Arboriculture course There are 10 places going

Have a look on the site your more then welcome to pop in to the college and have a look round if you get in touch they will be able to take you out on a taster days with us who our on the course..

That's actually some pretty good advice, Tom! I'm looking for a college course to jump into when I get to the UK! Is it possible to work AND do this course at the same time?

is this the 1 year course where you don't get any chainsaw tickets? is oliver on the course with you? he does his placement with me.

the FD is the course i am doing currently.

 

you get 30/31 and 38/39 on the course in the first year, it is possible to work as you do this and take the part time or online course options. I opted for the full time. 3 days a week.

im hopingo to jump on with the ND next year to do my 41, as i dont get it on the FD!

well considering they have scrapped the year placement for ND students as my group are the last year to go out on placement i would say they are going to have enough students on their hands as it is arn't they?

 

and from what I have been told no more tutors to cover the extra teaching hours?

at this rate we will be lucky if we are in for an hour a week next year!

I would say yes.. As its 3days a week Monday,Tuesday and Friday SO the rest of the time you could work as long as you got any assignments in.. It dose say On wendays and thursday Work placement but the college haven't gotten round to helping us out with that i have asked around and had no luck
