Remains of a Sycamore i took down eating 7' deer fence.

While we were working in this area felled this damaged Syc, thought this fiber buckling was interesting so plunged my saw in for a cross section :blushing: big fat piece of wire :001_rolleyes:

I have lots like that Bart i will get some pics:001_smile:

 

David there is an oak tree on the estate that was hit by a lightning aircraft in the 70s the pilot died. They tell me part of the wing is still in the tree, i have read the newspaper report an old man in the village has got it framed and hanging on his wall:001_smile:
