Normally £2 hoppus ft but will go up to £4 if the butt is exceptional. However of late the old Welsh farmers have been turning me down, they think it's worth alot more.The butts still sit in their yards.

Brownoak: Some nice logs there, does the price you paid include the delivery?

Not sure cracker. I tend to sell sawn wood not wood in the round. I am tight though, and cornish timber is generally of a poorer quality than from up country. I get my softwood from dartmoor area usually, or a few plantations down here, but decent hardwood comes from devon usually, or Lord Falmouths estate, but he is VERY expensive. Over £5/ foot roadside!!!! (nice logs mind)
