I have an issue with my silky zubat, sometimes when climbing around the tree the sheaf sits on a branch and turns it upsidown which then leads to the saw falling out. I'm afraid one day this will happen to someone and the saw will do some damage to someone. Also, much less often, and not for a fair while now the clip can get pulled out and the whole lot will drop to the ground. Could silky do away with the clip and make the sheaf so it has a direct connection and also make the catch which keeps the saw in the sheaf a bit more reliable.

does anyone have any little tricks to remedy this?

The zubat has a small hole in the handle. Use some small accessory cord and clip it to you harness using a small cheapo crab. Also means you can't drop it when cutting aswell. You can get some thin twirled bungee cord kinds like an old phone cord from somewhere

Plastic strip available from most diy merchants that you make into a loop. Sometimes called a ziptie. Haha nothing technical I'm afraid

Try putting an elastic band around the handle of the saw. This creates friction and prevents the saw from falling out so readily. The downside is that you have to lever with your thumb sometimes to draw the saw out.
