Thought i'd stick my opinion down in here.

If its just as a perk for an employee, give him a pay rise to help him get his own transport. You will save in the end.

I wouldn't be buying a vehicle that cant make me any money, so if you do buy one, make sure it can be used to earn. :thumbup1:

now thats good thinking:thumbup1:

Thanks mate.:thumbup1:

I was just thinking, if its not a van that will earn money, by the time he's bought it, insured and taxed it, fixed it when it goes wrong and fueled it, he may as well give the bloke £100- £150 a month to sort himself out some wheels.

Still end up being cheaper.:thumbup1:

Another vote for the astra... Small car like van, excellent to drive, but with a reasonable load area, about 1.8m long and 1m between the wheel arches and i think around a 500kg load rating. Gor for the 1.7cdti i only pay £120 a year tax, and still goes well enough to be a good safe, not sluggish, drive when its loaded with gear. Insurance is reasonable... I get around 45mpg and drive it flat out everywhere. Mines not missed a beat yet.

As you can tell i have had 2 Seat Inca vans and now im down to 1 1/2 lol

Great van but if i was to replace it i would be very tempted by the Renault Kangoo 15 DCi I had one hired for a few months and it was exceptional!

I had a Transit connect as well and was not impressed, Not great on fuel the seats were like sitting on the road! And the passenger seat was only 3/4 the width of the drivers.

i love how you think someone might steal that:001_rolleyes::laugh1:

If that was round here, Our irish travelling brothers would have Hiab'd it away in no time, Clamp and all. They would probably see the clamp as another 2 quid of scrap not a security device :laugh1:

LOL you never know!

The wheelclamp on the mesh trailer broke so i left it with just the Bradley hitch lock fitted and came home to find some guy with a 4x4 with my trailer sitting on the towbar! He thought it was abandoned lol. 2 locks and chained together now!
