Haha, going to open myself wide open here but here goes.

 

All my life I have had a feeling that I have to acheive something big. It's really hard to explain.

 

Almost as though I have been put on this earth for a reason, it sometimes does my head in and is very frustrating.

 

Is it like dreams and is supposed to mean something or do I just need putting in a straight jacket and have some electric shock treatment.

You are just frustrated Dean. You need to take a step back and think about what you really want. Then get rid of the things in your head that you THINK you need and go for it.
