Honey bros and buxtons are both brilliant suppliers but they are not the only two. Scout round on the Internet aswell for best deals. A fair few will offer bulk discounts if you are buying all kit at once. Climbing kit is ppe so should really be specificall for you. I.e brand new.

As for coming straight out of college and setting up on your own, I advise you to not do it. Get in the real world and get some years behind you first.

i have already asked my instructers. they tell me they carnt sell me anything. As they carnt cover there backs if a rope or harness were to fail. so judging by the replys im going to hold out and buy some brand new ` dappa` climbing gear. just need to earn some spare cash now.

i will have a look around on the net for a bargin. as for starting by myself i wouldnt as i am joining in parnership with my father who has his own landscaping business. however i do see your point about getting expeirence. i will try and take on work with local arborists as and when i can

If you get to one of the shows I'll take you through the different harnesses and find a tree for you to have a hang in them. Or if you can get to our shop you can have a hang in them there, that way you will find the one that suits you best.:001_smile:
