Tree Accident

I was told today of a tree accident in which a climber fell out of a tree.

First reports say his blakes hitch came undone and he plummeted to ground bouncing off branches as he went.

I was told he is very poorly, his hip was shattered and kidneys damaged.

Apparently he was from the Wakefield area and went under Acasia Tree something.

I have done searches and cannot find anything.

I wanted to hear the correct tale and to see if it was the blakes that failed, because I have always been unsure of the blakes.

Does anyone know anything of this accident.

Come on Pecontools - this is you you're talking about really isn't it:) I can just picture your new avatar, you screwed up in a little ball on the floor with a pile of rope on top of you and a 200t sticking out the top!

It wouldn't surprise me Cabstar, if anything can go wrong it will go wrong with me, I'm lucky that way.

Judge might know he's in Farsley.

not Aire Valley (based near LBA airport now, after i sold it) there is Acacia tree services nr wakefield/south leeds.

On a similar note a guy in Italy was killed on a golf course, owned by Fiat, when a tree fell on him while he was about to tee off, the first time ever the course had been open on a easter monday and the first time the guy had played a round of golf:tdown:
