I havn't a clue about the problem sorry! Just wanted to say that i used a company called "milner off road" for parts for my L200. I have had my head gasket go twice and a water pump and these guys saved me a fortune. Good luck in finding a soloution:thumbup1:

I would second that about Milners. Excellent service and very good prices.

The Mitsubishi engine is known to have a problem with the front crank pulley. On some engines the thread in the crank is not deep enough and will eventually allow the pulley to come loose. This in turn normally ends up with the nose of the crank worn. First place I`d check!
