From what Iv'e seen in the Med country's, they wouldn't have a clue what NPTC is or what any arb tickets are, they just get on with it, and pay little attention to the carp Brussels chucks out........

I think the strict answer is probably 'NO' as they will not appear on other countries 'national qualification framework', or equivalent.

But, in practice, probably yes as the UK system to some extent is seent o lead the way.

Now if you also held the 'European Tree Worker Certificate' that would probably bring more credibility to your NPTCs.

Cheers..

In spain they are definetly recognized by the spanish arboricultural assosiation. They are pushing for them to become the standard, they are still not obligatory though.....

Where are you looking to work in europe?

never been asked for them, a good reference and rep is better than any qual. the etw is a good way to go but if you can build up a 'portfolio' of people you have worker for then you will be ok. im not rubbishing all quals but to be honest peope become ridiculously better than the qual which in my mind makes it good for a starting point but doesnt say what the person is capable off.
