i put an employee through this recently, here's what we found:

The trailer needs to be as wide or wider than the tow vehicle

The tow vehicle must be totally empty, ie no tools or equipment in the back

The trailer must have a working fog light,(not all do)

The tow vehicle must have a buzzer or light to show that the trailer indicators are working.

They will also need to fit extra mirrors on for the examiner to use, check he is bringing them as the instructor provided ours.:001_smile:

But there is places around where you can use instructors vehicle/trailer?

Does anyon know if there is an age limit for taking/driving a trailer? Ive got my driving test booked in a few weeks and gotta theroy that the sooner I do my trailer I wont get into 'bad' driving habbits etc.
