It makes no difference, because they both cut really well - it tends to be the operator that lets most saws down. (but more often than not its a Husky operator)

If you are a chainsaw newby,then buy a known brand, and stick to a 15 inch bar or less,saves you touching your toes with the thing if you are cutting up a tree you have felled(sneding).

Also do yourself a favour and get chainsaw boots & trousers,and a helmet.

i use the 346xp nice saw but stihl i use for bigger saws ms460.and 880/ stihl seem easier to clean and maintenance:001_smile:
