Hello

I am looking at buying my first chainsaw and was wondering what make and type of chainsaw is best for me?

Thanks

It makes no difference, because they both cut really well - it tends to be the operator that lets most saws down. (but more often than not its a Husky operator):001_tt2:

If you are a chainsaw newby, then buy a known brand, and stick to a 15 inch bar or less, saves you touching your toes with the thing if you are cutting up a tree you have felled(sneding).

Also do yourself a favour and get chainsaw boots & trousers, and a helmet.
