nice wander around the woods this morning, some pretty cool beech and some old holly pollards and a crazy old oak. pretty lucky really as its about 5 minutes from mine. pretty awesome place to grow up

Tell me about it, queue for Lyndhurst was almost back to Cadnam (where I live) the other day. I wasn't 5 mins away from Lyndhurst that day.

Great pics Jon, really takes me back. I grew up in Dorset, and we used to regularly go for walks in the new forest and trips to Beaulieu every new year......Grockle...LOL i havent heaerd that since i moved to Cornwall where the hordes are referred to as 'emmets' meaning 'ant-like'....
