nice wander around the woods this morning, some pretty cool beech and some old holly pollards and a crazy old oak. pretty lucky really as its about 5 minutes from mine. pretty awesome place to grow up

just along from horseshoe bottom out the back of sway

 

Nice place, we were thinking of taking the dog out to Brockenhurst today but didn't fancy doing battle with all the bloody caravans.:001_smile:

no point going anywhere near brock/ lyndhurst/ lymington whilst theres so many grockles about

 

Tell me about it, queue for Lyndhurst was almost back to Cadnam (where I live) the other day. I wasn't 5 mins away from Lyndhurst that day.:thumbdown:

Great pics Jon, really takes me back. I grew up in Dorset, and we used to regularly go for walks in the new forest and trips to Beaulieu every new year......Grockle...LOL i havent heaerd that since i moved to Cornwall where the hordes are referred to as 'emmets' meaning 'ant-like'....
