try and go for the 30 session course at westonbirt if you do. the surroundings are more relevant and the bs5837 stuff is more hands on, which is often the achilles heel for most on mang day

 

will most likely do mine online in september, cant afford days off/day release.

 

The other reason I want it is to have a qual under my belt before I finish the longer term degree and enable me to get more consulting surveying type work rather than all the climbing, as I want to wind it down fairly soon.:biggrin:

ive already spoken to him and they have employed ecologists in the past before and trained them, its not the quals its the applicant they look at, he said if your familiar with planning system and know your way around the 5837 situ in the real world, hed gladly look at any application

i think you should go for it hamadryad, just the chance you have been looking for, time to shine. for all the posts ive have seen you send on here, i think you are a pritty switched on type of guy and you should get it no prob's. they may even help you with your fdsc
