Just received my new wire-core flipline.

ISC snap and VT/micro pulley crab, smooth, smooth, smooth - I'm loving it.

Any tips on what to do with the excess flipline for those occasional days when I tackle trees that don't need the full 3m length?

Doesn't daisy chain too well!

I just pass the end through D ring on side of harness or through a carabiner clipped on side or behind so its out of the way.

sorry Mark i never read your post right, if its a vt/micro pulley then through the d's works a treat, i have a new flip line and isc rope grab, i used it yesterday and the ropegrab needs a fair bit of slack at the back to pull around to get it to work.

You want suggestions on where to shove it ???!!!

Surely your only using it when chogging down stems so no worries if there is a bit too much of it??

Mark, I have the same problem, only doubled as I use two wire core fliplines instead of a climbing line and lanyard.

Even with one wirecore each side it can still be annoying.

There's no way I'm coming down to change over just to chog a stem down!

You're right, won't be a problem on a stem, but I know I'll end up using it all over the tree on dismantles, and the tail of my normal lanyard has really been getting on my tits recently.

Shoving it up my a**e isn't an option, either.

That's where I keep my opinions.

Really? I just get my sent up when I'm on the stem with a big saw. Up till then I don't use a wire one. Couldn't cope with it all day long.
