Are Dell computers any good??

I wish I could say they are rubbish, but I can't, they're pretty decent machines with a decent warranty service at a good price.

 

They're putting PC repair companies, like mine, out of business.

I have recently just bought one, but when i installed it and ran it for about 5 hours it blew up! it took dell 6 weeks to send a new one. but the new one seems to be working fine now. Customer service is also not that great.

 

Maybe i had a bad experience of dell.

My mac is 7 years old and runs like a dream, my uni friends had at least 2 pcs each over the 3 years!!!! Mine is still going and i graduated in 2005! Pc to Mac is like Bowsaw to Ms200T!!!!!

I'm on the verge of ordering the dell Inspiron 560 looks like a good buy. Just trying to eeek out thelast few days on the good old faithful laptop!!!!

got a dell inspiron 530 office computer, not had a drop of trouble in 2 years. just brought the missus a laptop for her course which was a inspiron 1545 and thats pretty damned good too

My feelings are so strong on this subject I feel I have to make my first post. Mac's outclass Pc's by far If you were to get a Mac I think within a couple of weeks you would realize it was the best computing decision you ever made.

as a business computer macs are expensive and lack performance for the same money compared to normal pcs laptops and everything is backwards on them.

 

we have a mac book pro hate it
