jeez guys!!

the 036, 360,361 are the same saws! just with periodical minor updates just as the rest of the range!

the 361 is bein discontinued, and is bein replaced wiv the 362, the main diff is the 2-mix 2stroke engine, the actual performance is very minimaly different, if not at all.

but yes, i would quite happily reccomend a 36 to anyone as a reguler saw, bein a user for yonks!!

The same applies to the 390/391, exept this saw is more of a hobby/loggin saw.

just dont go for the largest reccommended bar either. id suggest a shorter 16" bar, as you will notice a considerable increase in power, assuming the chain is absolutly pucker sharp.

No, the 036 / MS360 are not the same as the 361. The latter had many differences; engine 2cc less, higher revving, different av mounts, different weight, different crankcase, diff. housings, diff oil pump in other words a totally diff. saw.

Spent alot of time with a 390 and got a 361 now and dispite the extra cc's on the 390 an hr with each and the 361 is the better saw by far and in my experince so far is the more reliable of the two, get one wile you can beware the new model saw-new model new problems to be ironed out.

But at the end of the day see below
