When I did the 32, the instructor said that the 33 didnt involve anything more than the 32 and wasnt worth doing considering the difficulty in getting suitable trees. Is that what you found now you've done the 33?

 

had the same conversation as youre self,but managed to do mine a few years ago on the grovenour estate at chester as they had a few large trees which were suitable for the course.having trouble finding some where local to do my windblown/storm damaged ,but threres no rush ....yet!

Most 33s are done assessment only on a job of yours

If you need the training your probably not ready imo

if you did the training you would only do about 2 a day if lucky

Ive been assessing the old 33 for a while now and have the interesting hounor of being the first to assess the new cs33 award.

 

it is as has been said all about getting hard trees to do what you need them to
