Need one for a small job this weekend, aint got a decent one so thinking of investing in a new one so at least I will be OK for the rest of the year and needent turn jobs away!

 

Thinking about a Stihl HS81 R. Any comments would be appreciated.

I use the HS45 about £265 from memory.

 

Buy it , paid for in a day , then use for 1 or 2 seasons then give it to my dad.

Only a small job to do Sat but will pay for 1/2 HS81. Plenty of people wanting me to do hedges so I know it will pay for its self PDQ. Just want to make the right choice

I have one - no problems at all (keep those blades lubricated well)

I use HL 100 (135°) & HS81 and (maybe it's weird) I prefer HS 81 - it's briliant
