Those photos were at a show in Tenbury Wells a couple years ago. Don't know who the guy was but presumably he is very local.

Anyhoo, wend down the twinpot rabbit hole last night, and ended up with the echo back pack compressor, same engine as the echo 2 cylinder I think.

So found one on the flea bay, just in the USofA

Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for Echo Rec 600 Back Pack Air Compressor Engineering Sample...

Have fun, don't go crazy 🤣

It was a 350cc Villiers engine.

Made light work of any sawing as the torque was there.

6ft bar and the teeth were huge.

Just a real b@stard to start.

I think that's the 250 Villiers, as the 350 had a single exhaust port, all the 250,s had two, but that's a beauty and I would love to own one.

If you still had it I'd be worrying the  life from you trying to buy it.

Sorry.

Definitely a 350 as I had the original sales receipt and manual from 1953

well I always thought the 350cc villiers was a single exhaust port, and the 250,s were twin port, but I searched and found this,

I apologize, every day's a school day.:thumbup1:
