No point finding work if you are not eligible to do it though.
You can travel for 90 days, but you can’t work unless you have an EU passport, or have applied for and been granted a work visa.

Yes,yes you can.

Norway you Brits can rock up,start working straight away and get permanent residence after two years.

Sweden it's a bit of paperwork but not much.Probably a bonus to employers since the applicant will have to show a bit of drive on their behalf.

Finland has a seasonal workers permit that would suit the op perfectly.

So in short,if you want to stuff holes with tree's in Scandi-wegia then off you go.

So with the exception of Norway, you will need to be granted a work visa or permit for Sweden and Finland in advance.

I would assume that visas/permits are issued where skills shortages have been identified, rather than handed out to anyone irrelevant of need, like sweeties.

Sure

Just like,well....practically everywhere else on the planet.

Sound system it is too, keeps the bludgers out. I have never had recourse to public funds in any of the four countries I needed a work visa for.

when I came over as a sole trader in 2010 the UTR number sufficed. And when hiring uk guys that’s what my accountant wanted too (But yeah all company’s no matter size pay/charge vat)

no idea what it’s like since brexit, I stopped hiring uk guys around then anyway

the only company that comes to mind for tree planting is Magnus Thor AB , about an hour north of Stockholm, see his vans about planting alot. Give them a google

the big forest companies seem to sub all the practical work out, just plan the works in house

Their system is a lot more regulated compared to the UK in my experience, if you subcontract work from another company they may not v=be able to pay you without the right tax documentation
