never been to Scandinavia, but in my very much younger days was "nomadic" for a while, and lived in a Thames 15cwt van, I just drove around, Wiltshire, Wales, east Anglia, and many more locations, and I have Knocked on many doors asking for work, had a few that said no, but many gave me work, mending stuff, odd bit of felling, splitting, helping out at harvest, I'm thinking maybe a recreational trip to Scandinavia, and putting the word about, these days qualifications are required, if you have them, say so when making your inquiries, don't aim too high, if somebody gives you an opportunity, take it, do a good job, hopefully it will plant a good seed and you may get more offers on the back of it. Good Luck.

Unfortunately times have changed and although you never left the UK and just drove around in a van, those halcion days are no more, and any young person without any imagination is ****************ed without an an EU passport due to Brexit.
You can’t just rock up anywhere in the EU any more without an EU passport and get work, Brexit ended that option, but at least a few welders go apprenticeships on Tyneside so all is well, eh?

I'm sure the op is aware of that,as am I, however  maybe he will find a way instead of looking for an excuse not to do it.

he did after all ask how to find work in Scandinavia, and may have a passport and was looking for a more work oriented reply.

Do I need a visa for Scandinavia from the UK?

Visa requirements

You can travel without a visa to the Schengen area, which includes Norway, for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This applies if you travel: as a tourist. to visit family or friends.
