so how many would u have done in a day we are talking cubic bags here which hold a hell of a lot of wood and we did 37 in 2 days so do your maths properly before you make any adverse comment .me rich and his son worked well together great people the coffee and the cakes are second to none.

yes, i think thats v.good - hard work but satisfying, 36 bags will you sell them for about £60 quid each -after taking out the wood cost and labour,processing youll still get a good profit i imagine will you

hi logbaron i was doing the work for justme for him to use for himself id say the bas are worth £60.00 all day.

So thats only six bags per man per day and with all that big machinery

 

That 6 x m3 bags is far more than we can do (with a two man team) using a chainsaw & tractor mounted hydraulic splitter.

 

Me & my son roughly recon it would have taken us at least TWO weeks to do that much our normal way.
