What tree is this??

Hi we have a huge tree in a precarious position at the top of a slope on the field,  thsnkfully atm it seems ok but ill be kerping sny eye on it ...the tree is enormous 7ft in width. I don't know what it is, any help would be appreciated

Bark looks like Ash to me. Have you any close ups of the leaves?

Does look like ash. 
If it’s that big, black poplar is another possibility. 
One look at the leaves will tell us.
