I've got a pair of these as well. Certainly cooler than my pfanners but only wear them on the really hot days because they're no where near as durable

I tried the Montbell - super thin and light as you say but these were very inflexible - ripstop type shell. But zero flex. Fine if you're as stiff as a board I suppose.

be careful you dont get the wrong trousers and get stitched up by a penguin pretending to be a chicken

My pair of Arbortech BreatheFlex are living up to the name!

 

 

May get another repair out of them but the outer material is rubbish, rips far too easily.
