The top plate and the side plate have no clearance to them . It will be rubbing and all you will get will be dust . Looks like the rakers have never been touched either . This wont help either . Bin it . Also , just to be pedantic there is no " blade " ( thats on a knife ) . There is a bar , with a groove in it in which a chain runs and this chain has cutters , rakers and below , in the bar it has drivers .

You may be right.

After a few good cuts it’s stopped cutting and I’m getting sparks.

Will any chain the right length fit ok to the “bar”

No . It has to be the correct pitch , the correct gauge and the correct number of drivers for that length and type of bar .

Not really. You have everything there you need to order a new chain and or bar.

Typing 91P056X into google gives multiple vendors.

As does 160sdea041 for bars.

It can feel that way at first!

Easiest thing to do: take the whole thing to your local chainsaw shop. They'll recommend any new stuff you'll need to get it in running order again.  Probably just a new chain, but maybe the bar is past it's best too... let them have a look and they'll sell you what you need.

Edit: but crucially... ask them to fit the chain for you. It's a twenty second job that they should be happy to do for you. Then you'll be able to do it yourself next time.

No offence intended but using a badly maintained saw is dangerous along with a lack of experience it may not end well.

Where abouts are you? I am sure somone local could give it a quick check over and help you get the basics right. I am in Sussex if that helps.

From the spec it shows as a 3/8 LP 0.43"  16" bar and chain. Could I suggest this set, its a shorter 14" bar, 4 chains. Wider gauge but you'd likely not notice the
difference, its got enough power for it. I have used these and they last well enough.

Whatever you do, dont bother with your local shop as it will cost a lot without learning the basics, you'll be back with wallet open in a matter of minutes.

Looks blunt to me but pics of a few cutters from above I'd be able to tell for sure.  guess someone else used it till it was blunt then sold it.

0.375" is the pitch, in either 16" or 18" length.

Get a new chain and report back!
