I threw the chain the other day and had some peened drivers. Filed most of them but did shove one scratchy one back in. That's not enough to wreck the groove though.

I just looked at your video again.  It looks to be oiling the bar now, that must be enough to deplete the oil tank now?

The only other thing I can suggest is to buy a new sprocket, bar and chain combo. Compare the dimensions of the drivers and rails.  These items are consumable, so you'll need them new eventually anyway.  You appear to be giving that saw a fair amount of use. Also I've had bar nose sprockets just die on me and seize up for no apparent reason.

No. Did a full battery cutting with it oiling with no side cover and no chain and had a full tank left at the end.

The only thing I've come up with overnight is that the chain drivers aren't grabbing the oil and pulling it along the bar groove. It's an end of life chain. Have a much newer bar on another saw and fresher and fresh chains in stock. Job for later. Raining. Still annoyed.

Update. Let it sit for a couple of weeks. Hoped it would fix itself. Now it doesn't oil at all; no weep from the duct/gland. Annoyed.

Are you an optimist?

Is the metal pump inside the plastic like this

1123-640-3201-pompe-a-huile-0-65-pour-tr

?

If so you should be able to screw an M5 or M6 pan head screw in and tap it out with a slide hammer. It is very important to line up the inlet and outlet ports to the plastic housing when you put it back. They were about 15 quid when I last fitted one to a petrol chainsaw about 9 years ago.

Not looked. Drowning sorrows. May move on to just drowning. Will check back in to this thread in the morning, when I hope I'll be less annoyed and more proactive about the whole thing.
