Very overgrown and seems out of control. I would love to tidy this up considerably eg reduce height and width. As advice on trimming would be really helpful inner foliage very reddish brown thank you so much

Not always easy to successfully reduce these - I’d take at least 30% off the height, trim the sides gently. I have run wire round inside and tied tightly to stop the boughs falling outwards in the wind. A few grew back very neat and tidy and I kept them in good shape for several years

You can reduce the height, but the top will be flat, and look awful.

The sides can only be lightly trimmed, so lightly you wouldn’t notice.

 

I’d enjoy it while you can then fell it.
