Planting options post PR.

Hi All, recently we felled a decent volume of PR infected Sweet Chestnut on some of my land.

 

We've thrashed out a replanting list and want rapid establishment and have decided on a broadleaf mix with conifer nurse, pref. DF. We're going for Nothofagus (S.Beech) as it suits the area, geography, etc. Only concern is that both these are listed as "plant with caution" under FC guidance - see attached pdf. Any thoughts? I have previously had to clear fell a mixed block of Larch and Southern Beech, planted in the 70’s in East Sussex, due to PR. 
The Southern beech was looking fantastic at the time. 
Where is your location and any idea on soil type?

I certainly wouldn’t be planting two tree types that are commonly known to be susceptible to PR.

Seems us and the planting contractor have both had senior moments here. The site is very hot with PR so how on earth did we arrive at DF and S.beech 🤯.
