SafeTrak 19-28 rebuild diary

[GA Groundcare]

A couple of months ago we were asked to rebuild a customers 19-28 SafeTrak MK2 and incorporate a colour change. Here is the progress so far. This is the first of two machines.

Few items being bolted back on.

 

 

New bottom feed roller, bearing housing and bearing fitted.

 

 

Anvils in good condition so just cleaned, rotated and refitted.

The safe-track is a bit of a classic, still fetching decent money and paying the bills for peeps all over.

I had a wheeled version, thought it was a well thought out piece of engineering. 
Now I think about it, it was you who made me aware of it up for sale near you.
